Pomifer Park’s land was originally owned by the nuns who own the Hartzer Religious Retreat opposite. Since buying Pomifer Park, the current owners have done over a million dollars worth of property improvements.

In Australia, online property valuations mostly use the same valuation AI software. Its property valuations are primarily based upon the previous sale price of the property, plus general price increasing or decreasing trends for the area.

These AI valuations don’t include the value of recent improvements made to particular properties because the AI calculation has no knowledge of the improvements made, and there is no method for sellers to add information about the improvements they’ve made since purchasing the property.

The only good thing about this situation is that a new sale price for a property, becomes its new value.
